Resolution in the Puttalam Mayor's Conference
Member of Parliament Raoob Hakeem has been re-elected as the President of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress.
The 30th General Conference of Sri Lanka Muslim Congress was held yesterday (07) in Puttalam.

After the visit of Member of Parliament Raoob Hakeem, the Conference of Chancellors started. The names of those selected for the party positions were announced during the General Conference. Raoob Hakeem has been re-appointed as party president and President's Counsel Nizam Kariapar as secretary.
Member of Parliament MS Telabeek was elected as the National Organizer of the party. Member of Parliament Faisal Qasim has been elected as the treasurer of the party. Former Members of Parliament MIM Mansoor and Alizahir Melalana, UTM Anwar and lawyer SMA Kapur have been elected as the Vice Presidents of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress.
Abdul Majeed has been selected as the party secretary. Mohammad Sabras has been appointed as Director of Political Affairs and Culture. Former Provincial Council member MS Udumalebu has been selected as the Assistant National Organiser. Suspended MPs Faisal Qasim and M.S. Telabeek also participated in the Chancellor's Conference. However, it is noteworthy that Member of Parliament HMM Harris did not attend the Chancellor's Conference this time.
Former provincial council members L. Tavam and Arif Samsuddin also did not participate in this conference.
