A special discussion on this was held at the National Transport Commission recently. Sri
Ceylon Army, Sri Lanka Police, Sri Lanka Transport Board, Provincial Road Passenger Transport
Senior officials of the Authority and the Colombo Municipal Council were present.
There are two phases of the New Year Passenger Transport Service. The first phase is from 08 to 15 April 2022. Colombo
If the demand for bus services at the Bastian Mawatha main bus terminal increases, to the bus owners
Temporary Passenger Service Permits are issued free of charge. Passenger safety, food and drink
Public facilities including sanitation will be provided.
Kadawatha, Kaduwela Bus Terminals and Ma Kumbura Multiple Exchange
Provides the above services and facilities within.
Returning to Colombo and Suburbs under Phase II, Galle, Matara, Embilipitiya,
Passenger demand at Monaragala, Badulla, Hatton, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya bus terminals
Bus services are planned to be operated on temporary licenses.
